How to Pair To WiFi

Firstly, please ensure your Wi-Fi/hotspot meets the following criteria:

  1. 2.4 Ghz frequency only
  2. No special characters or symbol in the Wi-Fi name
  3. Wi-Fi bandwidth is split (not combined)
How To Pair Meter using ibilikPlus App
  1. Ensure mobile device is connected to the desired Wi-Fi/hotspot
  2. Open “ibilikPlus” app
  3. Click “Profile” in the bottom right corner, then click “Smart Meter Pairing”
  4. Check that your Wi-Fi name is correct
  5. Key-in the password (but do not confirm yet)
  6. Press the meter button for 10 seconds (until it is blinking)
  7. On mobile app, press next

How To Pair Meter with Smart Meter App

  2. Open “Esptouch” app
  3. Select Esptouch 1
  4. Select device count (Depending on how many meters you would like to pair)
  5. Key-in the password (but do not confirm yet)
  6. Press the meter button for 10 seconds (until it is blinking)
  7. On mobile app, press confirm.

 

Should meter be unable to pair despite following the above steps, please refer to the steps below

1. Check the wiring of the Smart Meter and ensure each wire is connected to the correct point (not reversed etc)

2. Disconnect the power from the meter so it turns off and then reconnect the power to the meter to restart it.

3. Restart your modem. Disconnect your phone from the WiFi and reconnect it.
